At least once every month, I always come back here to rewatch this scene, along with the one, where Batou and Kuze fight! Amazing! Truly the peak of GitS Anime! I really wish Kuze would've got his own spin-off series! He's such a cool (I especially like the "Cyborg Ronin Vibe" he gaves), interesting and well designed character, but unfortunately he's also very underrated (at least the way I see it), even among the GitS Fanbase. A series about him, during his wandering years (2024 - 2032) would've given us so much S.A.C Lore and world building! Imo, it definitely would've been a much better series than Arise and 2045/Netflix.

I remember seeing this on Adult Swim. It was awesome. Both the Stand Alone Complex and SAC 2nd GIG. Then pn Netflix we got SAC 2045. I prefer to stick with the original SAC series.

Wow! This looks like from the 90s in New York City. This is the Michael Roach that I remember well when attending his classes in the East Village. This is awesome! Thanks for posting. I really wish he had continued in this simple place that he was in.

The soundtrack somehow keeps the spirit of the 1995 movie one, but puts its own spin on it. How the hollywood live action adaptation failed to understand how the soundtrack was absolutely essential and just went for generic "mainstream OST number 3" is mind boggling.
